Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) is the most dreadful and unpleasant side-effect of chemotherapy. Antiemetic treatments need to be administered before chemotherapy for the prevention of CINV. The overall objective of this study was to improve the prevention of CINV using precise, personalized and evidence-based antiemetic treatment before chemotherapy. In this presentation, we will describe the development of an EHR data-driven dynamic decision support system for the prevention of CINV.
