To enhance detection and prevention of risk ulcers among spinal cord injury patients, the present study aims at developing powerful models for pressure ulcer data extraction. Results from this study are intended to be used to complement existing knowledge on data extraction methods, and enhance predictive risk models. Results show complementary effects generated by different extraction methods.
Learning Objective 1: Assessing the effectiveness of different data extraction methods in detecting pressure ulcers in longitudinal data.
