Description

The Duke Health Data Science Internship Program incorporates a strong educational mission into our vanguard projects with health data science. Duke students pursuing master’s-level studies in any quantitative field are embedded into transdisciplinary teams in a multiple-semester program. Two unique aspects of the internship program are: 1) A strong tie to the demonstration program, allowing us to integrate students into rea-world research; and 2) The matrixed organizational structure.

Learning Objective 1: After participating in this session, the learner should be better able to: assess the design and structuring of a data science internship program
