While traditional resident evaluation is limited to faculty review, 360-degree evaluations that involve nurses and other allied health professionals improve residents’ interpersonal and communication skills. However, in large residency programs, determining the allied health professionals with whom an individual resident has interacted is cumbersome and subject to bias. We present a data-driven approach using EHR audit logs to quantify the strength of interaction between residents and other allied health professionals.

Learning Objective 1: Describe how EHR audit logs can be used to identify clinicians caring for the same patients at the same time.
